Locum Hospital Speech Pathology Consultant

Experience as a speech pathologist in a hospital setting is essential for this role, where you will be working with patients to improve their communication and swallowing abilities. Your expertise will enable patients to make informed decisions and communicate effectively during medical procedures.
">- Providing speech pathology services to inpatients and outpatients.
- Working with a range of acquired and chronic diseases, including dysphagia, cognitive communication, communication, and decision-making capacity.
The ideal candidate will have experience working independently and managing a caseload that includes inpatient rehabilitation, palliative care, medical and surgical wards, paediatric ward, maternity ward, and Emergency department. Telehealth use may vary depending on the need.
Requirements:A relevant hospital background is necessary, and the ability to work autonomously is crucial. The team is collaborative and enjoys outdoor activities such as nature walks, hikes, waterfalls, gorges, and swimming.
