About the Role

We are seeking an Aboriginal Community Wellbeing Worker to join our SEWB team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation.

The successful candidate will provide a range of services, including outreach to clients, planned transports, service brokerage, cultural input to service delivery, client support for healthcare follow-ups, healthcare advocacy, client follow-ups for missed appointments, and short-term case management.

This role is critical for the promotion of initial and continued access to holistic primary healthcare.

As part of this role, you will be supported to attain qualifications in an area such as alcohol and other drugs, community services, or mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outreach services to clients, including planned transports and service brokerage
  • Contribute cultural input to service delivery
  • Support clients with healthcare follow-ups and advocacy
  • Follow up with clients for missed appointments
  • Provide short-term case management
