The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in turning data into actionable insights that inform donor engagement.

Job Summary

This strategic position requires delivering high-quality research and insights to guide fundraising efforts and deepen relationships with donors, alumni, and partners.

Main Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing research strategies to identify high-potential prospects.
  • Preparing comprehensive profiles and briefings for Advancement staff and senior leadership.
  • Translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform donor engagement.
  • Championing CRM optimisation and data integrity across portfolios.
About You
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree, with relevant experience in prospect research, library science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of prospect research within a higher education environment and fundraising principles.
  • Ability to research and analyse individuals and organisations as prospective donors and synthesize findings into insights for planning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of privacy and information regulations in handling research data.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including relational databases, spreadsheets, Office, and research tools.
  • Professionalism, initiative, judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
