Administrative Support Role

Court Clerk Job Description

This role provides administrative support to the Magistrates Court - Coronial Division.

A fixed-term, full-time position contributes to the operation of the court through administrative support. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds and support reasonable adjustment requests.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support relating to assigned coronial matters.
  • Coordinate inquest proceedings, monitor technical equipment, and complete all court records.
  • Ensure accurate recording of court proceedings, including data entry into the coronial case management system.
  • Assist in publishing coronial findings and information on the Magistrates Court website.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Team Leader/Manager.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and expertise consistent with qualifications recognised at Certificate 3 and 4 of Business Administration or equivalent level.
