Located in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs, our client is a prominent Insurance Broking service provider. They offer a collaborative work environment with convenient access to transport links, cafes, and retail facilities.

The Role

This challenging position requires an experienced Insurance Brokerage professional with a proven track record of success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a portfolio of SME risks valued at approximately $300,000 annually.
  • Developing and implementing a new business strategy in collaboration with strategic leaders.
  • Directing the processing of quotations, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring timely achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Actively pursuing new business leads provided by the brokerage.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling insurance products to clients.
  • Collaborating with team members to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the leadership of the team.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Insurance Broking or Underwriting.
  • Expertise in ISR, business packs, Liability, Motor, and Professional Risk.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with business owners.
  • Prior experience in all aspects of Insurance Broking, including responding to client requests, processing, and documentation associated with the portfolio, and claims management.
  • Tier 1 broking essential.
  • Competence in IT and office procedures.

Salary and Benefits

This senior role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include performance bonuses, professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive remuneration package.
