New Graduate Physiotherapist Position

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic New Graduate Physiotherapists to join our dynamic team at Calvary Mater Newcastle.
This fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt and effective evidence-based patient care as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Assess, plan, organise, evaluate and deliver quality, patient-centred Physiotherapy care in accordance with AHPRA and the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Conduct thorough, systematic assessments that address client's issues and concerns, including referral to other services where required.
- Deliver effective treatment and provide clients with self-management skills.
- Reassess clients and progress treatment when appropriate.
- Recognised degree in Physiotherapy and authorised to practice as a Physiotherapist by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) by February 2025.
- Demonstrate competence and good clinical judgement in providing individualised treatment for a broad range of clients.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively as a member of both the multidisciplinary team and the physiotherapy team.
- Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective and efficient delivery of support to a diverse population.
- Demonstrate ability to seek assistance and realise professional limitations.
- Demonstrate commitment to own personal responsibilities, professional development and evidence-based practice.
