We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our team in Australia or Singapore.

Grafana Labs is a remote-first company with a strong open-source culture. We build scalable observability platforms that integrate metrics, logs, and traces.

As a senior backend software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, operating, and maintaining critical systems. This includes taking an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives.

You will work with your team to deliver new features, iterate and improve based on results, drive projects from ideation to operations, and contribute to other projects outside of your team's scope.

Key skills include solid experience with at least one programming language, some experience delivering projects from gathering requirements to shipping products, and experience writing clean, robust, and performant software.

Bonus points for experience working with Kubernetes, databases, storage layers, query engines, microservices architecture, distributed systems, being on-call, and performing operations/SRE tasks.
