The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Principal Consultant to join our Launceston team on a permanent full-time basis. This role is ideal for current Senior Consultants or Principal Consultants looking to expand their experience, or Rehabilitation Consultants seeking to take their career to the next level.

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day while receiving support from a strong, close-knit team of healthcare professionals. Your role will involve a mix of senior duties and case management, providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with diverse conditions and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of workplace rehabilitation cases, leveraging the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks;
  • Develop and implement plans for RTW, collaborating with key stakeholders to progress and upgrade these plans as needed;
  • Mentor and coach consultants to support their achievement of service delivery, customer service, and billable minimum thresholds;
  • Assist with the induction of new consultants and performance management processes;
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships;
  • Collaborate with employers and employees to design and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Work across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
