We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician to deliver holistic, person-centred care to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

Mental health services will be delivered in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive mental health care.

  • Deliver trauma-informed care to children and adolescents experiencing or at risk of developing severe mental illness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Key Responsibilities

Identified Outcomes:

  • Successful therapeutic engagement with young people experiencing or at risk of severe mental illness.
  • Better experience of care through integrated service models.
  • Prevention of unnecessary hospitalisations through timely access to targeted clinical care.
  • Development of multiagency care plans for young people with, or at risk of, severe mental illness.
  • Improved support for families and carers of children and adolescents experiencing severe mental illness.
Priority Populations

We have a special focus on supporting school-aged children and adolescents from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, who identify as LGBTIQ+, are experiencing social and/or economic disadvantage, or have experienced trauma.

  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have sound communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Hold a relevant Australian qualification as a Counsellor, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Registered Nurse.
