Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Leader to join our Credit Risk team, focusing on commercial lending credit risk policies and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will lead a small team, leveraging their expertise to evolve policies that balance risk and reward, considering market trends, customer needs, and employee/technology opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, manage, and update the suite of risk appetite and policies underpinning our risk management framework.
  • Investigate trends and insights from internal and external data to optimize credit policies and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address areas for improvement in automation, data quality, and risk management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role in the Banking/Financial Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lending credit risk and underwriting experience.
  • Prior experience with credit risk systems and understanding their interaction with policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership experience engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.

Salary

$140,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation and benefits.
