Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our team and drive sales growth in our Shepparton store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a sales-focused store culture, executing sales strategies, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive profitable sales growth
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets
- Ensure a consistent positive store experience for customers, including effective resolution of customer complaints and queries
- Manage and monitor financial performance, including labor management and inventory control
- Develop and maintain knowledge of compliance and legislative requirements, with a focus on Consumer Law and Safety
- Ensure The Good Guys brand image is upheld to the highest standard, including visual merchandising, in-store marketing, and employee presentation
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a retail environment, with a focus on sales and customer service
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing profit and loss statements and store metrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
