About the Role
The Men's Clinic Manager provides leadership, management, and coordination of comprehensive primary health care in Anyinginyi Health's Men's clinic.
This position necessitates strong relationships with male clients, effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and a holistic philosophy to overall good health and wellbeing.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- To coordinate regular meetings of the Men's Health Nurses and staff across all Anyinginyi Health clinics.
- Create/implement/monitor culturally appropriate activities that promote male engagement with health services.
- To work with other health services and organisations relevant to Aboriginal men in the region, to provide high-quality health care to male clients.
- To coordinate/facilitate access to healthcare by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander male clients across the Barkley Region communities.
- Ensure appropriate rostering of staff & client workflow management
- Assist GPs & other clinical staff as required including visiting health professionals & specialists
- Ensure data, reporting & compliance obligations for services are met
- Implement relevant policies & procedures to ensure clinical & legal compliance
- Effectively manage complaints from a range of stakeholders (clients, staff & service providers)
About You
To be considered for this position, you must possess current registration as either an Aboriginal Health Practitioner or Registered Nurse.
Evidenced understanding of the Primary Health Care system and key issues relevant to closing the gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is essential.
Demonstrated experience providing a broad range of clinical interventions & possessing qualifications to provide Vaccinations within the Northern Territory.
A National Police Clearance and Ochre Card (NT Working with Children's) card obtainment is a requirement prior to commencement in this role.
Salary Package
The salary package includes a competitive annual salary ranging from $112,853 - $133,837 per annum, plus generous benefits including professional development incentives, employee assistance programs, and opportunities for career growth and advancement.
