Companion Care Specialist

The role of a Care Companion involves providing support with daily living activities, promoting social connections and overall well-being for clients.
About the PositionThis part-time opportunity requires flexibility across Monday-Friday. You will be supported by a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance with personal care needs, such as bathing and hygiene
- Help clients maintain their independence through tasks like transportation to appointments, meal preparation, and household cleaning
- Foster meaningful relationships and companionship with clients
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance coverage
- Australian driver's license
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.)
- Police check (valid within the last 3 years)
- Up-to-date flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Reimbursement for kilometres travelled using your own vehicle at $0.88 per kilometre
