Maintenance Technician

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, your role is to undertake preventative and corrective maintenance on baggage handling systems. This full-time position involves 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake preventative and corrective electrical maintenance.
- Find faults in automated systems.
- Use data analytics to enhance system performance.
- Provide technical support to customers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Electrical, plus 3-5 years of post-trade experience as a Service Technician.
- Strong electrical background working on industrial automated equipment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical).
- Experience in logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems is highly regarded.
- Automation experience with conveyors and sortation systems is beneficial.
- Highly motivated individuals with a keen interest in furthering their abilities and studies are encouraged to apply.
