Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Bay Supervisor to join our team at Cummins Inc. in the Mildura Workshop. As a key member of our Automotive On-Highway team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of technicians and apprentices, ensuring a smooth process from beginning to end, and adhering to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians and apprentices to achieve exceptional results and high-quality workmanship.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to the Branch Leadership.
  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Act as a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time, demonstrating expertise and leadership.

Requirements

  • Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic with experience working on engine products and Heavy On-Highway Vehicles, such as Kenworth and Western Star.
  • Experience in using electronic troubleshooting systems and following defined OEM procedures.
  • HR (Heavy Rigid License) Truck will be advantageous.
  • Previous or demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring in a workshop environment.
  • Effective communication and organization skills, with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
