Role Overview

This role reports directly to the HSEQ Manager and involves working alongside a talented team at ABN Group. As part of the broader ABN community, you will be part of a supportive environment that enables your growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams in implementing, maintaining, and improving the PACT Integrated Management System.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, and internal and external audits to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
  • Provide timely technical advice to stakeholders, ensuring accurate information and supporting legal compliance.
  • Review subcontractor HSEQ documentation during onboarding, assisting them in developing and documenting safety processes.
  • Foster cooperative relationships with all stakeholders, including subcontractors, regulators, and clients.
  • Lead incident and injury management, including reporting and investigations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor subcontractor HSEQ performance.
  • Attend meetings to provide HSEQ guidance and support.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience working in construction or a similar industry.
  • Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Drivers Licence (minimum C class).
  • Construction Induction Training (White Card).
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • High attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively.
