Fire Protection Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on fire services and protection engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust fire services engineering designs using qualitative, quantitative, and probabilistic methods.
  • Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery within budget and statutory guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements for fire safety systems in buildings.
  • Participate in developing client objectives to achieve life safety, property protection, business continuity, and sustainable design in fire protection.
  • Conduct design reviews, third-party inspections, and verifications.
  • Design and specify fire systems, including sprinkler systems, hydrant/hose reel systems, fire detection systems, and gas/foam suppression systems.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate tertiary engineering qualification with an emphasis on fire systems and/or fire engineering practices.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Membership in a recognized body acknowledging qualifications and experience in fire protection, fire design, and fire practices.
  • Experience in leading project teams successfully.
