Job Title: Production Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Production Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the effective operation of plant equipment, ensuring maximum metallurgical production while maintaining a safe working environment.

The role involves:

  • Operating all processing plant equipment relating to crushing, grinding, leach, and adsorption circuits.
  • Optimising plant utilisation to achieve maximum return on assets, considering safety, people, and environmental factors.
  • Identifying and diagnosing items of plant that require preventative maintenance or repair.
  • Collaborating with Maintenance Technicians to repair equipment, minimising impact on production.
  • Performing minor maintenance tasks and demonstrating proficiency in using equipment such as I.T Loader, Skid Steer, Gantry Crane & Tele-Hander.
  • Monitoring reagent use and ensuring production activities achieve maximum effective use of plant and equipment.

Key requirements include:

  • Knowledge of and proficiency in plant sections, including elution, regeneration kiln, leach / adsorption, grinding, reagents, and crushing.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in computing skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • A valid C Class Driver's license.
  • Full Australian Work Rights.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Sound knowledge of processing technologies and equipment.
  • Confined Space and Gas Testing ticket.
  • EWP certification.
  • Forklift Licence.
  • HR Licence.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
