About the Role

HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and seeking permanent part-time Caregivers to provide support to clients across various locations.

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing
  • Helping with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light house cleaning
  • Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Assisting with medication management
Requirements
  • You must be able to relate to people and be patient and solutions-focused
  • Previous experience in aged or community care is desirable, but not necessary
  • You must have a valid Driver's License and access to an insured, reliable vehicle
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, but not required
  • You must be flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of home care clients
