Concrete Finishing Specialist">

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to fill a key role in our North Brisbane operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced tradesperson to join our team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commercial or residential concreting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality finishes. They will also possess excellent time management skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret construction drawings to ensure works are undertaken in accordance with structural specifications.
  • Carry out all aspects of concreting works, including forming, reinforcing, placing and finishing (hand and machine).
  • Place formwork for topping slabs, ramps, footpaths, etc.
  • Finish concrete to individual job specifications.
  • Operate concrete trowel machines and vibrating screeds to achieve smooth finishes.
  • Supervise and train workers as necessary.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure prompt repairs as needed.
  • Adhere to industry guidelines and company safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Extensive trade experience in either commercial or residential concreting.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
  • Clean driving record essential for this position.
  • Certificate 3 in concreting (preferred but not essential).
