Job Role:

As a Practitioner with the Orange Door, you will be working at the forefront of integrated intake services, supporting clients who are seeking assistance with child wellbeing, specialist women's and men's family violence, Child Protection, and Aboriginal services.

This role is part of a multidisciplinary team within a healthcare setting, providing essential screening, investigation, triage, assessment, and planning for vulnerable families, women, children, and young people experiencing family violence, as well as perpetrators of family violence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with families and children to address complex needs in a confidential, flexible, and responsive manner, including comprehensive risk assessment and safety planning
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering effective partnerships and communication
  • Effectively manage high volumes of work, prioritizing tasks while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and cooperation
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
