Role Overview
A student engineer role awaits in this key position, contributing to the resilience of infrastructure and disaster recovery efforts.

This is an undergraduate position that sits at the P01 level, requiring a driven individual to join a State Government client based out of Nerang Office.



The Key Responsibilities
We are seeking someone with a strong academic background in Civil Engineering who can support technical analysis and restoration design for pavements, drainage, culverts, and slopes using Departmental standards. The ideal candidate will also be able to assist in design reviews, procurement, contract administration, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you must be currently enrolled in the second or third year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree accredited under the Washington Accord or double degree including Civil Engineering. You should also be willing and able to work in both office and field environments, including undertaking site visits, and hold a current Class C Driver's Licence. Additionally, you should be interested in infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, or civil project delivery.

Job Requirements
This role requires the following skills and qualifications:

  • Current holder of a Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Interest in infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, or civil project delivery.
