Residential Support Worker

We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team as Residential Support Workers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in residential care settings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and supervision to young people in a residential setting.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans that cater to each young person's unique needs and goals.
  • Assist with daily activities, promote self-care, education, and recreational activities that foster a safe and positive living environment.
  • Promote trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV in Community Services, Youth/Social Work, or a related field.
  • Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or being willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle for transporting young people and staff members (if required).
  • Experience working with young people/children and other support work-related fields such as disability, mental health, aged care, and childcare.
