The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is seeking an experienced protocol liaison specialist to facilitate the international arrival and departure of foreign senior visitors.

About the Role

This non-ongoing, casual position offers a unique opportunity for a highly skilled professional to work independently and exercise leadership skills in airport operations and protocol work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with key stakeholders regarding visit details and facilitate customs, immigration, biosecurity, and security screening processes for each principal.
What We Offer

A competitive remuneration package based on actual hours worked, estimated at around AU$85,000 - AU$120,000 per annum. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Requirements
  • You must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining confidence, integrity, discretion, and sound judgement.
  • Experience in airport operations and/or protocol work is highly desirable.
