Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $82,795 - $116,041 per annum, including a fortnightly Director's allowance of $115.23 - $230.44, plus salary-sacrificing options. We also offer a range of benefits, including parental leave, return-to-work support, family-friendly priority access to C&K childcare centres, and discounts on childcare fees.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our team as an Early Childhood Director at our C&K Crescent Lagoon centre. In this role, you will lead a team of dedicated educators in delivering a high-quality educational program that supports the learning and development of young children. You will be responsible for managing the centre's operations, including staffing, resources, and facilities, to ensure a safe and supportive environment for children and staff.

You will work closely with our centre manager and other senior leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with C&K's values and mission. You will also contribute to the development of our centre's curriculum and programs, ensuring they meet the needs of all children and align with state and national regulations.

This is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday. You will start in the new year 2025.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of educators.
