About Hennessy Catholic College

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our collaborative leadership team as Assistant Principal - Teaching and Learning. As a key member of our senior team, you will work closely with the Principal to drive strategic initiatives and foster an effective learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To play a key role in shaping and implementing school goals and overseeing day-to-day operations using data-informed decision-making to boost student achievement and well-being.
  • To monitor progress, adapt strategies, and promote professional growth with staff and students to ensure continuous improvement and a positive school culture.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registrations.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies or the willingness to undertake.
  • Academic qualifications in addition to Initial Teacher Education (Master's Degree or five-year equivalent).
