The Primary Learning Support Teacher plays a critical role in supporting the learning needs of primary school students. This position involves collaborating with primary school teachers, students, and parents to ensure an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary teacher liaison under the guidance of Head of Student Learning and Support
  • Provide individualized interventions for students
  • Guide teachers in developing curriculum for learning interventions
  • Support students in developing literacy and numeracy skills through targeted interventions
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and child safety regulations

Selection Criteria:

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active attendance at a local Church
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in learning support or special education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, primary teachers, and parents
  • Ability to provide differentiated and individualized learning support to students with diverse needs
