The role is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all maintenance employees, as well as ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of electrical maintenance professionals, managing day-to-day site electrical maintenance requirements, scheduling work, and managing breakdowns and maintenance projects. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to lead from the front, managing maintenance to downtime targets. The role also involves managing consumables, purchasing requirements, and escalating any nonconformities. The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing safety standards, procedures, and processes, as well as planning, standards, and controls, workforce planning, and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical Trade qualification, knowledge of AS/NZ S 3000, maintenance software systems experience, manufacturing process experience, and knowledge and experience in safety procedures. They will also be able to read electrical schematics/drawings, have PLC experience, VSD experience, and previous experience managing an electrical team in a production environment.
