Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior ITS Engineer.

This role offers a unique chance to work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of transportation systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering services to support asset lifecycle projects within Transport Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports a systems engineering approach to problem definition, requirements development, solution design, verification, and validation.
  • Assists in coordinating with technology partners to develop ITS solutions.
  • Supports risk-based assessments of ITS infrastructure to inform recommendations for capital investment.
  • Evaluates options for ITS asset management solutions.
  • Supports ITS Engineering Services for project managers, including design workshops, design reviews, risk reviews, and test witnessing.
  • Evaluates adherence to Australian and industry standards for ITS solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Some professional engineering experience with ITS systems or similar technical domains.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal communication, presentations, report writing, and concise management reporting.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload, identify tasks, set goals, and develop plans.
  • Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a curious mindset.
  • Deep interest in innovation and evolving technology landscapes.
  • Understanding of project delivery and system engineering lifecycles.
