The Role">

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Imago machine learning (ML) team. This role will involve working within a multidisciplinary team, applying expertise in machine learning, AI, and data analysis, particularly in downhole core image analysis through the Seequent Imago platform. Responsibilities include:

  • Problem-solving using machine learning, scientific computing, and data analytics techniques.">
  • Developing innovative ML and data analysis applications, including design, maintenance, and deployment.">
  • Maintaining and improving existing ML and analytics tools.">
  • Planning and developing new ML and analytics services.">
  • Collaborating with data scientists and engineers within and outside the team.
">

Qualifications and skills required:

">
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, quantitative science, mathematics, computer science, or related field.">
  • Industry experience in relevant data science roles.">
  • Proficiency in Python for computer vision tasks and analysis.">
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining ML models and data pipelines.">
  • Commercial software development experience.">
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions.
">
