About the role

Empower people to find employment and transform their lives through our Workforce Australia program.

We are seeking a dedicated Employment Consultant to join our team in Gungahlin. As an Employment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting job seekers to overcome barriers to employment and successfully transition into the workforce.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a high-volume caseload of job seekers and actively engaging with 'work ready' individuals to secure sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Clearly identifying and addressing barriers preventing job seekers from being job ready, and providing participants with the tools and confidence to enter the workforce.

This is a fixed-term contract until September 2025. To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as be a confident self-starter who thrives on results and problem-solving.

You will also need computer skills and knowledge of MS Office. While industry experience is not essential, we welcome applications from customer-facing backgrounds like retail and hospitality.
