Job Description:

The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for administering the Pharmacy Business Ownership Act.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires adaptability, responsiveness, and a proactive mindset.

The Manager, Licensing and Compliance is responsible for leading and managing a team to administer the licensing scheme for pharmacy business ownership in Queensland.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of collaborative, educative, and risk-based compliance monitoring and enforcement programs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and managing a team
  • Administering the licensing scheme
  • Developing and implementing compliance monitoring and enforcement programs

To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated experience in a complex regulatory and licensing environment with the ability to undertake complex decision-making.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels and providing quality written reports, decisions, and advice.

A proven track record of managing teams, including people, resources, processes, and systems, is also required.

Candidates should have a demonstrated capacity to create an environment of business improvement, adaptability, and high performance.

A relevant qualification, such as law, would be well regarded.
