Eligibility and Opportunities

You can choose from two streams: Subsurface Engineering or Drilling & Completions Engineering.

Subsurface Engineering

  • Focus on characterising the recovery of hydrocarbons from the reservoir, and optimising this process.
  • Be involved in most stages of the asset lifecycle: exploration, appraisal, development, and production.
  • Conduct day-to-day tasks such as analysing reservoir and production data, creating and updating analytical and reservoir simulation computer models, and forecasting future production and reserves.

Drilling & Completions Engineering

  • Work closely with the area asset team to prepare well designs, cost estimates, and detailed operational guidelines for new and existing wellbores to meet project objectives.
  • Support incident response, project management, field supervision, and cost/invoice review.
