Job Title:

Linux Security Architect

Description:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to build and maintain the security foundation that enables secure operation and compliance with international information security standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other engineers in the Security team to design and implement robust security solutions.
  • Enhance Linux cryptographic components (OpenSSL, Libgcrypt, GnuTLS) with features required for FIPS and CC certification.
  • Work with external partners to develop security hardening benchmarks and automation for Linux distributions.
  • Contribute to open source projects to land solutions and benefit the community.
  • Effective communication and collaboration within and outside the organization to identify opportunities to improve security posture, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with low-level Linux cryptography APIs and debugging.
  • Excellent software engineering fundamentals, including prior experience with C development.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security and cryptography fundamentals and direct experience writing secure code.
  • Significant development experience working with open source libraries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications to enable efficient collaboration in a remote-first environment.
