Our Family Violence Services
We work with adult and child victim survivors who have experienced family violence. Our services include crisis response, specialist case management, and support to help individuals move through the crisis program to safe and longer-term accommodation.
About This Role
We are seeking a values-driven Trauma Recovery Specialist to deliver assessments, crisis response, and specialist case management services. This part-time (30.4 hours per week) position is based in Victoria and reports to the Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish effective relationships with clients that encourage self-determination and participation.
- Makes ongoing assessment of the client's issues, needs, and circumstances from initial intake to exit.
- Develop individual case plans in collaboration with clients, including a range of interventions that address their needs or goals.
- Assist clients to access holistic support services and establish community connections, where needed.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in social work or a related field.
- A Victorian Working with Children Check.
- Full Victorian Driver's Licence.
- Experience working in the family violence sector (desirable).
- Demonstrated case management experience and skills.

What We Offer
