Out of School Hours Care Lead Educator

Cabonne Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Out of School Hours Care Lead Educator to join our team on a casual basis. As a key member of our services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day operation of the out of school hours service meets all regulatory requirements.
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the development and delivery of educational programs to primary school-aged children, working closely with our supportive and proactive leadership team. You will be provided with training and support to ensure our workers are resilient, adaptive, and able to perform to Council and community expectations.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the out of school hours service, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Develop and deliver educational programs to primary school-aged children.
- Work closely with the leadership team to ensure the success of the service.
- Provide training and support to staff to ensure they are equipped to meet Council and community expectations.
- Class C driver's licence.
- Education and Care approved First Aid Certification.
- Working with Children Check clearance.
- Education and Care approved Child Protection training.
- Qualification in an early childhood related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with children.
- Ability to assist with the coordination of an appropriate and stimulating range of activities.
- Ability to assist in the coordination of the day-to-day operation of the Centre.
- Ability to Supervise OOSH Support Educators.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Hourly rate is $40.92 depending on experience.
- Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job.
