We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Hive in the beautiful Wide Bay-Burnett region of Queensland.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • Ability to plan, implement and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual children's needs and interests
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with children, families and colleagues
  • Skill in observing children's progress, documenting their learning and using this information to guide future planning
  • Ability to work effectively with other educators, support staff and families to create an inclusive, responsive and respectful learning environment

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Prior experience in teaching in an early childhood setting
  • Ensuring an inclusive environment where all children, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, can thrive
  • Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations
  • Engagement in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and practices
  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools used for children's documentation and parent communication
