Project Manager for Civil & Rail Maintenance

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing project execution and delivery, providing advice and support to the team.

  • Manage labour, equipment, and materials for the duration of projects.
  • Lead field teams by example and identify operational areas for review and improvement.
  • Oversee project health and safety performance and ensure all works are conducted in line with the HSE management plan.
  • Provide technical support and coordinate day-to-day works.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate works to ensure job completion is constructed in accordance with relevant specifications and procedures.
  • Promote a positive culture and lead by example, coaching, and mentoring supervisors and engineers.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • C-Class Driver's License (minimum)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Superintendent or Leadership role
  • Certificate IV Leadership & Management (or similar)
  • Autonomous worker who can adapt and work flexibly with business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to interpret and follow design models and engineering drawings
  • Proficient in the full MS Office Suite
  • Commitment to safe work habits and core values

Desirable Criteria:

  • Rio Tinto site access inductions
  • Experience in rail industry
  • Experience in Project Management
