About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our vibrant, friendly Brisbane office as part of our growing Private Business Tax & Advisory (Private Advisory) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our clients in meeting their accounting and tax compliance requirements, including preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns
  • Collaborate with a broad range of clients, from small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to large companies
  • Assist with accounting and tax advisory work that supports our clients' business
  • Build a foundation of trust and competency with clients
  • Provide developmental support to team members through coaching and mentoring opportunities as required
Skills and Experience
  • Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
  • Have commenced (or planning to commence) a CA qualification
  • Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a desire to go 'above and beyond' to delight your customers
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment
