Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and passionate teachers to join our team in the Upper Hunter area.

The Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to providing high-quality education to students, and we believe that our schools offer a unique and supportive environment for teachers to grow and develop.

Our ideal candidate will be able to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school.

They will also have demonstrated ability to effectively utilise assessment and relevant school data to optimise organisational and educational outcomes.

Additionally, they will be able to work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community in order to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.

We require candidates to have qualifications as a four-year trained teacher, active NESA Accreditation, and current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.

The successful applicant will be supported by a professional development program that includes training and coaching to help them meet the needs of students and parents.

  • To assess student progress and achievement
  • To communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being
