We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Manager to join our team at Jackson People Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in overseeing the finance and commercial operations across our Group, delivering strategic insights, managing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Process Improvement: Deliver process efficiencies through standardization and automation, championing best practice, and continuous improvements within the business.
- Accounting and Finance Systems: Build and develop Accounting and Finance systems and processes internally, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Financial Strategies: Develop and implement financial strategies and budgets for the Group, monitoring and assessing financial performance against established targets.
- Procurement Management: Manage the procurement function of the business, identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- ERP Improvement: Identify, prioritize, and implement ERP improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Financial Analysis: Manage the preparation and analysis of quarterly and monthly financial results, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all accounting, fiduciary, and statutory obligations, maintaining the highest level of integrity and accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance and operations team, including managing direct reports, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Accounting/Finance Tertiary Qualifications: Accounting or Finance tertiary qualifications with experience in both financial and management accounting.
- Business Operations Experience: Exposure to broader operations, including purchasing, supply chain, and logistics.
- Financial Systems Experience: Experience with financial and ERP systems, including implementation and integration.
- Process Improvement Experience: Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvement and end-to-end major system implementation.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information.
- Analytical Skills: Well-developed analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Time Management Skills: Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
