Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our team at The Haven, a dedicated care facility that provides a safe, home-like environment for our residents. As part of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with personal care, supporting day-to-day tasks, and maintaining documentation to ensure our residents' health and wellbeing are optimised.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with showering, dressing, and other personal care needs
  • Supporting residents with daily activities such as eating, socialising, and hobbies
  • Working with clinical team members to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a collaborative team environment

You will work closely with our clinical team to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. You will also contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes their dignity, autonomy, and choice.

Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent) and current First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances
