We are seeking a seasoned Construction Supervisor to join our team in Adelaide. This role will be embedded with SA Water, working together to deliver an efficient capital program and infrastructure projects.

The Construction Supervisor will ensure the delivery of new civil works and treatment plants meets required outcomes by supporting optimal construction delivery regarding time, quality, and cost through promotion of efficiency, innovation, safety, and environmental best practice.

This role involves providing technical advice and guidance to the construction and project team on enabling works requirements, civil works, mechanical & electrical works, and commissioning/handover process.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Ensuring all quality requirements of the project are carried out by the contractor in accordance with technical specification and relevant Australian standards and guidelines.
  • Compliance with necessary internal and external standards, acts, regulations, guidelines, and design requirements.
  • Collaboration with the Senior Project Manager to identify and assess project risks and opportunities.
  • Review of project activities against schedule and reported progress on a weekly basis.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of construction and health, safety, and environmental practices, standards, and quality assurance methods.
  • Ability to use computer applications including project scheduling, spreadsheets, and analytics.
  • Experience in construction, commissioning, and program reviews, quality assurance, cost estimates, and scheduling for construction projects.
