Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented leader to join our team as a Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Financial Accountant and work collaboratively to ensure smooth execution of day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare end of month journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting packs
- Financial Operations
- Assist the Accounts team to execute day-to-day finance operations
- Liaise and assist our Services with finance queries
- Assist with completing regulatory lodgments with the Australian Taxation Office
- Financial Governance
- Maintain appropriate processes, procedures, and internal controls
- Assist with external audit requests and queries
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business or Commerce
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualified
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience
- Skills
- Exceptional administrative skills, demonstrating a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Great teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
