About the Job

You will work closely with the EA&PNG GM of Procurement & Supply Chain, as well as EA Managers and Team Leaders to drive operational efficiency, cost recovery, and financial reporting excellence across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional financial business partnering support to senior leaders and key stakeholders within the Procurement & Supply Chain department.
  2. Analyse and report on departmental performance against budget, providing actionable insights and trend analysis.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely recovery of logistics and operations support costs across EA Assets.
  4. Maximize cost recovery across joint ventures and minimize corporate costs.
  5. Lead the annual budget build for supported cost pools, including allocations for the Procurement & Supply Chain department.
  6. Manage month-end accounting tasks such as journal preparation, result review, and integrity checks before ledger close.
  7. Prepare group-wide monthly balance sheet reconciliations for warehouse inventory and stock obsolescence provisions.
  8. Drive improvements in financial reporting processes to enhance cost savings and efficiencies.
  9. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making across EA and Corporate departments.
Requirements

You have a proven track record of supporting operations, logistics, or similar disciplines. Your experience within the oil and gas or mining industries has provided you with valuable insights into financial analysis.

You are skilled in advanced financial systems such as SAP S/4HANA and Jedox, enabling you to streamline processes and drive efficiencies. Holding a tertiary degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Management, Economics, or Finance, you also possess a CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
