Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively with health staff across various professional backgrounds to ensure business needs are satisfied and delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and security of medical records by adhering to Freedom of Information principles.
- Providing accurate, timely, and professional responses to patients, visitors, and staff through face-to-face and phone interactions.
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with routine patient enquiries in consultation with clinical staff to ensure appropriate information is conveyed or re-directed.
- Accurate data entry to support reporting and business requirements.
- Attending meetings and taking minutes.
- Maintaining patient medical records and associated documents in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, promoting a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Experience with word processing and/or Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with consumers, staff, external agencies, and the public.
- Proven experience in providing confidential reception, secretarial, and administrative support services.
- Demonstrated ability to use judgement and respond to unusual circumstances in a demanding environment.
- Experience in dealing with diverse staff and organisations while ensuring high-quality service provision.
