Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced education professional to lead our Regional Learning Specialists (RLS) Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational leadership, developing and promoting the RLS vision, and contributing to the development of the Directorate's plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide effective leadership to the RLS Team, ensuring high-quality educational outcomes for regional ATAR students.
- Develop and promote the RLS vision, encouraging the RLS Team and others to share ownership of the Directorate's vision and goals.
- Contribute to the development of the Directorate's plan, including assisting in developing Directorate policy and establishing and maintaining systems.
- Facilitate teaching and learning outcomes through effective performance management and modelling a culture of improvement.
- Recognised teaching qualification and current registration to teach in Western Australia.
- Ability to provide effective leadership in a diverse range of educational settings.
- High level of interpersonal and public relations skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Professional knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure high-quality educational outcomes.
- Capacity to manage staff, physical, and financial resources.
- 11.5% employer contributed superannuation, increasing to 12% by July 2025.
