Lead Digital Strategist

The successful Lead Digital Strategist will be responsible for driving business growth through the effective use of digital analytics and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embed analytics as a core capability in digital product delivery, influencing roadmaps, prioritisation, and optimisation.
  • Drive deep insights that shape our digital experience, optimise conversion, and support RAC's member and business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing digital analytics team and provide guidance to data analysts working within the Digital Experience domain.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align analytics with shared outcomes and ensure data quality and governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A natural leader who inspires and empowers others, builds strong relationships, and thrives in collaborative environments with the ability to embed analytics in decision-making processes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or similar, or equivalent hands-on experience in digital analytics.
  • Technical proficiency across Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker Studio).
  • Significant experience in digital or data analytics within large, complex, or multi-brand environments, with a strong grasp of web and app behaviour analysis.
