Order Entry Medication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for accurately entering prescriptions and refills into our pharmacy system while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Enter new and refill prescriptions with speed and accuracy
- Resolve customer inquiries and needs in a timely and courteous manner
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve client services, policies, and procedures
- Comply with government regulations and company policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice
- Minimum one year of experience as a pharmacy technician (long-term care pharmacy preferred)
- Knowledge of brand name/generic medications
- Experience with alpha-numeric data entry
- Basic math computation skills
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
