Salary

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Financial and Pricing Analyst to join our team, working on a permanent basis in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting clients in making informed decisions about their technology spend.

You will have extensive experience in conducting pricing analysis, developing complex pricing models, and advising clients on best practices. Additionally, you will possess strong financial modelling skills, with the ability to consult on the end-to-end costing of ICT projects and systems implementation.

Your expertise in pricing analysis and normalisation of large complex supplier responses will enable you to provide strategic financial advice to clients on their return on investment from IT initiatives.

  • You will partner with teams on budgeting, forecasting, and market comparisons.
  • Review the total cost of ICT and undertake robust analysis to identify optimisation opportunities, in line with industry standards.
  • Assure financial cost and forecast models, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a consulting environment or technology supplier, focusing on financial management, commercial modelling, and business analysis.
  • A deep understanding of technology finance and pricing mechanisms.
  • Advanced Excel modelling (including Power Query) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Attention to detail and time management.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Data visualisation using tools such as Power BI.
